Our philosophy of obedience training consists of evaluating how each individual dog learns. We use tools and tactics from every known method of dog training. This allows us to have a training program that adheres to each dog’s specific behavior and way of learning.
Our puppy program consists of potty training, crate training, socialization, desensitizing, molding behaviors, and the introduction of basic obedience commands through motivation and positive reinforcement. It will also consist of the beginning phases of teaching your pup how to behave and walk at heel on a leash. The basic obedience commands include here, heel, sit, place, stay, down, kennel, quiet, and off.
Our on leash program consists of a more thorough form of socialization, desensitizing, and molding of behaviors.
Your dog will be taught to walk at heel on leash through a multitude of distractions.
They will be taught basic obedience commands such as here, heel, sit, place, stay, kennel, quiet, and down. These commands will also be reinforced through multiple types of distractions while on leash. The puppy program is not a prerequisite to this class, although it is highly recommended.
Our off leash program is based on a continuation of our on leash program being paired to an e-collar. The purpose and benefit of the e-collar is to be able to reinforce the commands your dog has been taught from a distance. Your dog will also be taught to walk at heel off leash through multiple types of distractions. Our on leash program is a prerequisite for our off leash program.
Purpose is for working on specific commands or behaviors your dog is struggling with, tune up, or extensive evaluation.
Our individual lessons are one-on-one sessions with you, your dog and our trainer. Our trainer will put down a foundation for you and your dog and be there to help you through the training. The curriculum for these lessons includes sit, down, stay, place, here, heel, and off.
